The Now Film Festival has announced an exclusive partnership with MySpace,
offering tremendous exposure for aspiring filmmakers in the first ever
all-online film festival.

A new finalist will be selected every week through March 2008. Each week’s
short film will be showcased on the MySpace Film channel
(http://film.myspace.com) as well as on MySpaceTV
(http://www.myspacetv.com). The MySpace community can watch the films and
interact with the filmmakers through the Now Film Festival’s official
MySpace profile (http://www.myspace.com/nowfilmfest).

“This partnership offers our beloved filmmakers the highest amount of
exposure to their aspiring careers,” festival director Sean Hackett said.
“Previous finalists have received distribution deals and even Oscar wins.
Embracing the hundreds of millions of MySpace users along with the
thousands of industry eyeballs provided by the Now Casting subscribers
will ensure that earned exposure.”

The festival is sponsored by Now Casting Inc. (http://www.nowcasting.com),
servicing hundreds of thousands of actors, agents, managers, studio
executives, and casting directors. These finalists will also be featured
in Actor’s Ink, distributed weekly to 75,000 industry subscribers.

In addition to extensive exposure, the grand prize winner will receive a
professional high-definition video camera (Panasonic AG-HVX200 or similar
model), courtesy of Now Casting.

MySpace members and NowCasting.com patrons will be able to vote on Best
Overall Film among other categories in acting, directing and writing. A
screening of the top films will take place in May 2008 at a Hollywood
venue.
