Team Queen is screening at the NewFest Brunch

Since November 2006, NewFest has partnered with OP.Lynx, the Women’s Network of Out Professionals to present the OP.Lynx/NewFest Filmmaker’s Brunch Series, a quarterly women’s programming/networking series, showcasing past festival favorites and sneak peeks at new films or TV series! NewFest and Lynx members receive discounted admission to this series!

Past programs have included a preview of Logo’s reality series, Curl Girls, with Maureen Guthman, Vice President of Acquisitions and Co-productions for LOGO present for a post-screening discussion; In Good Conscience, a critically-acclaimed portrait of defiant Catholic nun Sister Jeannine Gramick, with Peabody and Emmy award-winning filmmaker and ABC News journalist Barbara Rick in attendance; and Women in Love, director Karen Everett’s fascinating exploration of polyamory in San Francisco.

RSVPs are required for the brunch, which has limited seating. RSVPs are also recommended for the screening.

*The other NewFest screening back in June was a lot of fun so I’m sure the brunch will be just as spectacular!
