“Backalley Jukebox” is the world’s largest, filthiest and first touring queer music video program which debuted at the 2006 InsideOut Gay and Lesbian Film Festival in Toronto, Canada to a sold out audience followed by the biggest party in the festival’s history complete with queer bands and dj’s. The program is unique in its content with videos made by queer artists crossing a large spectrum of genres from queer rappers to bent electro rockers. With this Volume 1 of Backalley Jukebox the hope is to set the stage in order to continue to showcase the work of queer musicians in venues and screenings across the world helping fuel the now exploding scene developing around this revolutionary community of working artists.
