Bio

Leah Meyerhoff graduated with Honors from Brown University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Art-Semiotics. She was immediately accepted into New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she is currently pursuing a Master’s in Film.
While at NYU, Leah directed TWITCH, a short film portraying a young girl’s irrational fear that her mother’s disability is contagious.
A Slamdance Grand Jury Prize winner and Student Academy Awards finalist, TWITCH has screened in over 200 film festivals worldwide and won a dozen international awards.
TWITCH is currently airing on IFC and Skandinavia TV.
Leah has since completed several music videos. TEAM QUEEN, a gender-bending, fire breathing, post-punk rock music video for Triple Creme has won numerous awards and is now airing on LOGO. ETERNAL FLAME, a circus-themed music video for Joan As Police Woman, is currently airing on MTV Europe.
Leah has received press coverage from The New York Times, The Hollywood Reporter, Film Threat, The Boston Globe, Flavorpill and The San Francisco Chronicle. She was also profiled in the docudrama series Film School, which continues to air on IFC.
Leah also has extensive teaching experience at numerous top universities, including Brown University, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Studio Art Centers International, and the New York Film Academy.
Leah is currently working on her first feature film, UNICORNS, which is a finalist for the Sundance Screenwriting Labs.
